“Well I really don’t have to wake you, but you’ll probably wake up anyway.” He was pretty in tune with her. And seemed to wake up whenever she did anyway. At least he was always looking out for her. She kissed his cheek, snuggling down into bed. Under the covers. Curling into him. Letting out a small yawn. “Sleep now, yes.” She nuzzled him, resting her head on his shoulder. “Goodnight, Scar. I love you.” She trailed off in a yawn. Slowly falling asleep after that.
“Well if I don’t wake up. You can always get me up.” He said. He would probably wake up when she shifted away from him anyway. But if he didn’t, then she could nudge him awake for company. He curled up against her, wrapping an arm around her and holding her. “Night Amelia. Love you.” He whispered. He kissed her temple, holding her while she fell asleep. Falling asleep after she did.
She nodded, rubbing against him. Him keeping her calm would be good. Then she wouldn’t stay mad for long. She smiled when he kissed her neck. Purring more. Resting her hand over his. She let her eyes close as she let out a sigh. Feeling relaxed and a little exhausted after crying. And after the long day she had. “Thank you for dinner, again. It was wonderful. But may we sleep? Now that he’s kicking, I don’t want him to wake me up. Or I should say I’d like to get as much sleep as I can before he wakes me up.”
He nodded when she asked to sleep. “If that’s what you want. And you can wake me, if he wakes you. I won’t mind.” He offered. He snuggled into the bed, tugging the blankets up around them so she could sleep. Nuzzling into her and wrapping his arm more fully around her. “Sleep now. Baby will sleep fine too.” He said softly. Laying his hand on her stomach as if telling their son to sleep as well.
“I know. But that’s easier said than done, Scar. Sometimes I might get mad for no reason.” She spoke softly. Leaning into him. Smiling as he stroked her stomach. “I don’t like being mad. It’s not fun.” She pressed a kiss to his forehead. Purring softly against him. Relaxing now. Forgetting about how she got mad earlier and just wanting to focus on relaxing in bed with him.
“Then I’ll just have to calm you down. So you won’t be mad anymore.” He said. So long as she wasn’t mad, he would be alright with it. He stroked her stomach, nuzzling in against her shoulder. “I know. I’ll keep you happy. So you don’t have to be mad.” He whispered. Smiling when he heard her purr. Kissing her neck happily.
She ate a few more chips before setting the bag on the nightstand. Sucking the salt off her fingers and settling into bed more. Getting comfortable with him. “Oh, I’m not wonderful,” she whispered. “You are. For putting up with me and my crazy hormones right now. I don’t mean to get upset, it just happens and then I get mad at you and I hate it, but I don’t realize I’m being stupid at the time. So I’m sorry.”
He curled even further into her once she set the bag aside. Letting her get comfortable first before he settled in against her. “It’s hormones. I’ll deal. I’ll just… have to make you not mad. Keep you happy. I can do that.” He said softly. Stroking a hand over her stomach. “I won’t make you mad anymore. I don’t like to see you mad.” He whispered, pressing a kiss to her shoulder.
